Bahati farmers' cooperative was started in the year 1968 with the aim of producing pyrethrum and milk and market together asa group. When the milk sector was liberalized the farmers started selling milk to brokers after they fished paying of their loans. Pyrethrum production stopped when PPCK went under with farmers money. Later the group was revived in 2014 with ASDSP I but picked well on pyrethrum production in 2021 when they were issued with pyrethrum tissue culture material. Members have 1/4-1 acre land under pyrethrum which the sell individually to KENTEGRA. The cooperative has a 3/4 of land under tissue culture nursery which the sell to members.
